The Author

Michel M. Antoine, also known as Cheli, is a multidisciplinary creative who expresses herself through poetry, prose, movement, dance, crafts, and most recently pottery. Michel is a Bilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor who believes in the power of community and is an advocate for mental wellness and self-love. In addition to individual and family counseling, Michel facilitates monthly women empowerment workshops that focus on a wide array of topics such as improving self-esteem and regulating emotions. She has 2 published poetry collections: “STOP, LOVE, and LISTEN” that focuses on being present in life and following intuition and “Lost & Found” that focuses on finding oneself after being lost from heartbreak, insecurities, and self-doubt.
